Well, in the days gone by that I've missed writing about...I started reading a really good book with Nathan. The Wheel of Time series, In the Beginning, I believe. It's really good, I'm not going to lie. And it's nice to read with someone else. It keeps me noticing all the words. Sometimes when I read I skim over the setting and details and read mostly dialouge. But this way I slow down and take it all in. It's great.
We also got dressed up for Halloween and went to the store to get some candy. Yes, dressed like that. I'm a country cowgirl and he is a magic wizard, which I am pretty sure I know why he dressed as such. And it sorta made my day. <3 So with candy and soda in tow, kinda high from the stares we got (well, in everybody else's defence, he had a staff and I had a cowgirl hat...I don't expect that at Kroger usually), we went back to my house and watched VeggieTales. He had never seen them before!!!!! I was in shock. I love VeggieTales! So we watched Josh and the Big Wall. Good first one, yeah? We also watched my two cats (yes, we have two now) play in the living room, did family prayers, and then went back to watch a Knight's Tale. That is a really good movie. With a nice message.
I'm also doing just fine at work. Sandy is still very pregnant. For halloween she dressed as a pregnant nun...yeah, that was kinda cliche, but adorable nonetheless. She's a very funny individual sometimes. Sarah remains my favorite coworker, but Ashley is growing on me. She just has a way about really caring for the store that really impresses me. I wish I had pictures of my coworkers because they really are a great bunch. Even though a couple of them make me want to tear my hair out... ;) Though I did take Wednesday and Saturday off so I could go to the doctor and, well, the Saturday thing was because originially they weren't going to leave until Wednesday and come home Saturday. Silly mom and dad. But it's okay. I can use that day to just...chill. Maybe see Nathan. Do something with my day that ISN'T work, that ISN'T scheduled.
I also got to babysit twice this month, each for about 6 hours. One was for a lady in my ward, I watched her 4 grandkids, ages 5, 3, 15 months, and 14 months. Then another time I babysat for three boys, ages 11, 9, and 4. They were totally sweet and their parents were really amazing.
